Goodness knows I have been a slacker at this blogging thing. I just can’t seem to get my thoughts together enough to be interesting to myself let alone anyone else.
The good news is all the Christmas shopping is done. Even the great Madonnart Bday prezzie is wrapped and waiting for her to drive it back to Kelowna where she will secretly unwrap it at her first chance. Like I don’t know…
Unfortunately there is not a cookie is sight. A fact that has nothing to do with lack of interest in sugar but more to do with neither of the children ever being home to bake with. Where is the fun when u bake solo….oh right..that is what tequila is for.
Speaking of Tequila…WTH!! When did it suddenly get so flippin expensive? Apparently it has taken me 20 years to get through Dwayne’s hoarded stash and now having been forced to enter a liquor store…well all I can say is that Cognac is cheaper. Don’t worry mother. I still have your back.
Enough about that. More about me.
Today the countdown begins.
7 days of anticipation. 4 sleeps till the Grands arrive. 3 days until the last big food shop.
Sunday to do list:
Vacuum.Wash Floors. Sterilize bathrooms. Wash Carpets. Back Entrance.
Most importantly…put all miscellaneous crap away.
I have a secret….I leave my jewellery EVERYWHERE… occasionally a walk about is needed to refill the jewellery box so I may go forth and accessorize once again…
